Jane Putnam married Benjamin Thayer. They had four children: Margaret A., John Willard, Joseph Nathan, and Susan T. Thayer. After Benjamin's death in Collin County, Texas, they moved back to Crawford County, Arkansas. Jane married James C. Barrington. The 1850 census for Crawford County lists James Barrington living with Jane and the kids. I believe James and Jane had a child (possibly more than one) named James Barrington Jr.
Does anyone have knowledge of this line of Arkansas Barringtons? I know that Jane Barrington later married an Adams, but am not sure if it was after the death of James Barrington. He was about 10 years younger than Jane, which would have put his birth around 1825.
