Nettie Josephine Barrington, daughter of James Madison Barrington and Margaret Josephine Yoes, was born November 02, 1895 in Williamson County, Texas. She married in Williamson County on November 23, 1914 to Gano Clyde "Green" Satterfield. Gano was born August 04, 1894 and died July 20, 1956. Nettie died June 24, 1989. They are buried at the Jonah Cemetery in Williamson County.

Nettie Josephine Barrington and her husband Clyde Gano Satterfield are listed in the 1920 Federal Census for Williamson County, Texas. Nettie is listed as 24 years of age, born in Texas. Her father was born in Louisiana and her mother in Arkansas. Clyde is listed as "Green C" age 26, born in Texas. His parents were born in Kentucky. There is one child in the household, Barney C., age 3, born in Texas.
As far as I am aware Nettie Barrington and Gano Satterfield had only two children, Cecil Barney and Lloyd. I have tried without much success to find the descendants of these two children.
Cecil married Freddie Lorraine Dillard on June 15, 1938 and later he married Ruby Lee Matysek on June 22, 1943. Cecil and Freddie had two children, the first was Barney Jan Satterfield, born January 04, 1942. Barney Jan married an (unknown) Kent and they had two children, one son and one daughter, names unknown. The next child of Cecil and Freddie was also a son, name unkown. He is believed to have married two times, first to an (unknown) Vath, then (unknown) Schjerve, having one daughter with the second marriage. Cecil and Ruby Lee Matysek also had one child together who I believe to be Cecil Barney Satterfield, Jr. Cecil Jr., was born October 15, 1943 and died May 31, 1967. He was last known to be living in Comal County, Texas in New Braunfels. He served in the United States Army and is buried at the Fort Sam Houston Memorial Cemetery in San Antonio. If this is the son of Cecil and Ruby he is believed to have married two times, first to (unknown) Thigen and second (unknown) Walsh. Cecil's second marriage produced two children, one daughter and one son, names unknown.
The second child of Nettie Barrington and Gano Satterfield, Lloyd, married Mary Josephine Owens on June 07, 1952 and they had six children. The first is believed to be Debora Satterfield and she married possibly Michael M. Rubenzer 1952 in Wichita County, Texas, they had two children, one daughter and one son, names unknown. The second child of Lloyd and Mary (son) married an (unknown) Cherry and they had two children, one son and one daughter. The fourth child (son) of Lloyd and Mary married an (unknown) Roberts, they had one son. As for the other three children of Lloyd and Mary I have no additional information.
