I have recently started trying to list my Barrington side of the family and need help. Reading through all of these post I realized there are many out there who are connected. The following is a very brief discription on how I am connected. If anyone is connected please email me, doncon402@yahoo.com.
Willis Barrington, born June 30, 1791, Edgefield, South Carolina: married Sarah CeBelle Mathews, born February 01, 1796. Wilis and Sarah had the following children: Marshall Matthews; Eliza Olive; Lucinda Diminos; Wade Washington; Emily Cebelle; Willis Whitfield; Marion Madison; William Winfield; Sophonia Ann Ridley; Elizabeth Jane; Permelia Ann Adaline:
I am connected through Marion Madison Barrington, born December 23, 1826 in Henry County, Georgia; married Anne Margaret Heidt, born December 10, 1823: Marion and Anne had the following children: Eliza Caroline; Albert Alexander; Sarah Sebelle; William Augustus; Marion Hugh; John Madison; Anna "Annie" Lee Ola; Willis Jordon:
Anna "Annie" Lee Ola Barrington, born July 24, 1866 Crenshaw County, Alabama married Samuel "Mack" MacDonald Dean, born August 1859 in the Blackrock Community, Crenshaw County, Alabama. They had the following children; Charles "Charlie" Sumpter Dean II; Robert Marion Dean; Claude E. Dean; Alby Dean:
Robert Marion Dean born July 1885 married Amanda "Mandy" Lavada Harville, born May 1887. Robert and Mandy had nine children, one Eva Naomi Dean, born October 12, 1916 married Iry Zeddie Shackelford, born October 08, 1907 and died Cec 04, 1988 in Crenshaw County, Alabama. They are my parents and mom is still living.
If anyone is connected to any of thes Barrington families I need as much information as possible and will be willing to exchange what I now have and what I find in the future. It is my goal to list as many descendants, both dead and living, along with family history.
