Lynn,
I have traced my father, Jay Peter Barrington, to birth place of either Syracuse, NY or Saranac Lake, NY circa 1926. His mother was Irene "Elisabeth" Smith of Brunswick, GA, but graduated from Middleport High School in 1914. However, she never identified her husband except as Michael Barrington or Nathanial Barrington. It's our assumption she met and married "Barrington" in this NY area, then became a widow, divorced or ?. So, any info you have would be greatly appreciated.
