1900 Census (soundex only) Dallas County, Precinct 8

Barrington, Thomas b 3/1849 in LA
Ida (wife) 8/1864 GA
William F (son) 4/1887 TX
Joseph F (son) 7/1891 TX
Peyton A (son) 1/1893 TX
Marshall M (son) 1/1896 TX
Edward (son) 1/1899 TX

Ida would have had to have been at least a second wife. She was only 3 years old when Thomas married Jensie. It is possible that Joseph F was really Joseph H. I only viewed the soundex, not the census record. The next time I go to the Texas State Library I will look at the census itself. The Marshall M on this census must be your grandfather named after the Marshall Matthew(s) Barrington born in 1815. There is no indication of a twin - maybe one died? It is possible that additional children were born after 1900. I can check 1910 at the library also.
