Hello Jocelyn: My first husband, now deceased, was Arthur George Barrington, older brother of George who just mailed my 5 Barrington children and me the wonderful information about the family. The dates, places of burial, so nice to add to what we already knew from George's cookbook some years ago. I see by your address that you live in Canada, and this is the first that I have heard that the Barringtons came to the U. S. via Canada!
As you know, George lives in Troy, MI and we are in Center Line, just about an hour from Sarnia across the Blue Water Bridge. Three of my children have called tonight to tell me that their Uncle George sent them this Barrington genealogy. Since I am the family historian, they knew that I would be greatly interested.
Thank you for your information. Besides your 1st cousin George, you have now reached 6 more of the family who are interested in the Irish ancestry of the family.
