Dear Joan:Although I haven't found a direct link, I feel sure that I descend from Isaac Barrington (Cherokee County, AL, census 1840 or 1850), through his son William B. Barrington. Isaac was from NC and in 1810 and 1820 lived in GA.(I hope these dates are correct; using my memory here.)I have not found any proof but Isaac and William B. settled close to each other in Cherokee County, and Isaac had a son about William's age according to the GA census records. If memory serves, there was another Barrington who bought land in the same area of Cherokee County, AL in 1840's or 1850's(Martin or Nathan Barrington?)If any of this rings a bell, please let me know. Also, I would love to know if "my" Isaac descends from "your" Isaac.Thank you.Rae
