I had been told that my GGGrandfather, John H. BARRINGTON, husband of Hulda Jane BOUNDS, born in NC or TN? abt. 1820-1825 was buried in an unmarked grave in Cotton Gin, Freestone Co., TX sometime after 1870.
Just browsing cemetery records for Freestone Co., TX, I find in OAK ISLAND CEMETERY, 2 miles southwest of Cotton Gin:
J. H. BARRINGTON, born June 1, 1821-died June 1, 1871. The dates and name seem to fit
for John H. BARRINGTON and it is close to Cotton Gin. Does anyone know of another J. H. BARRINGTON that fits this profile?? JBrown
