Information regarding Barrier family of Nebo, North Carolina (Burke County and McDowell County). My grandmother was Inez Barrier Childers (later married Smith). Her grandmother was Della Mae Clark, married to William Taylor (William reported to be full-blooded Cherokee Indian).
