I am sorry to tell you that much of your genealogy find isn't good genealogy and in fact is mostly mythology. Unfortunately, Rev Franklin Barrier (my grandmother's uncle) wrote a booklet in 1941 on the Barrier
family. He couldn't verify any of his story about Zwingli descendants.
There is a "supposed" Will (it was dictated and not original) in the Lexington, NC Library for Abraham Barrier. It says that Abraham is the son of Jacob Barrier of St Gallen, Switzerland. At least it gives birthdates and something to verify.
There is no record that I have found of Abraham ever being in Ala. There is a similar Barrier name on records, but the age is wrong and is what previous researchers probably relied on.
