Hi Patty
Thanks so much for all your good info. It appears to eliminate the 10 yr gap. Documenting Martin Barrier in 1821 places the Barrier family in Ala shortly after Abraham disappears off the screen in KY in 1819. Not that Abraham necessarily ever removed to AL as he may have died in Ky.
It is interesting to note the Woodall name... as another line of Barriers from Davidson Co, NC removed to Lincoln TN abt 1812 and married into the Woodall family.
This is really a pain trying to post on this board now. Guess family tree (marketing group) just had to try to get people's mailing addresses and weren't satisfied just picking up e-mail addresses. It has really cut down on the number of postings.
