I made an error in previous message as to the date that Martin Barrier bought at the estate sale of James Gilliland. The correct date is Sept. 1823. Martin Barrier bought the following items:
1. axe $1.33
2. flax hank .63
3. unreadable .18 3/4
At the same estate dated Oct 15, 1824:
1. Thomas Boase[Boaz] paid $7.00 on account.
2. Archibald Jacoway paid $29.12 1/2 on note.
I did not find Abraham Barrier's name in the 1820-1830 Orphans Court Book in the abstract that I have. I do not know if all buyers are listed in my abstract for the entire Orphans Court Book.
