Hi David Bingo! I found Sarah on the 1840 census with that spelling which is surprising because I checked soundex. It is actually page 59 & 60. 1 female is listed in the 50-60 range. Yes, the book says Abraham can be found on the 1830 census for Jackson co.AL and that he died there in 1830. "Abraham disappeared from Kentucky records in 1819 when he moved to Jackson Co, AL with his son Martin Barrier and daughter Hanna Copenhaven. He died in 1830 at the ripe old age of 90 years old". This comes from the book "From Barriere to Berger to Barrier" Compiled by Claude Kirkland, 1994 bye Stephanie PS I am presuming you are descending from Martin?
