First of all a great big Howdy from a fellow geniologist here in Texas. I havent found alot on Berrier, but there is one interesting thing you ought to know that I just found out. The spelling of Berrier is pronounced as if it were spelled Byer. I dont know if all Berriers were pronounced that way but the librarian who told me this, suggested that it might help me in my search if I looked under that spelling as well. My Berriers were from the Carolinas. Which? I dont know as yet and I was up a creek until I talked to her. I guess that there could be some french in there, as they have pronunciations that can be very contrary to spellings. I know that this isnt much but maybbe it might help. E mail me some of your info and I will call some family and see if I can get some more info. Your fellow history digger. sjohnson 950
