Penny,
I have been unable to find a trace of Hucklebery / Hockenberry / Hagelberger in Frederick Co. land or estate or Lutheran or Reformed church records. There are still a couple of sources I haven't checked yet for present Washington Co., MD, where Hagerstown is.
I have not found a trace of the questioned Catherine Beckenbaugh's selling her interest in the Fredericktown lot she bought with Adam Bantz (I wondered if this was the Catherine Huckleberry said to have married Johann George Beckenbaugh). There was a reference possibly to this lot in the 1775 will of Henry Brunner, who bequeathed to his son John Brunner a house adjoining the dwelling house to be inherited by Henry Bantz, it being the house his father Adam Bantz now lives in. [MD Prerogative Court Wills 41:28-29].
No clarification! Yet, maybe.
