Trying to trace family through Joseph Barrette and Margaret Rondeau. He was born in 1829; probably in Quebec but maybe Ontario. He died on 11/2/1890. She died on 1/6/1889. They had 4 children; John Hilairo,(my grandfather), Adolph, Charlie, and Emma Walsh. John died in Crookston, MN on11/13/22. Also tracing a Guillaume Barrette who was born in Montreal on 5/12/1823 and who settled in Shingle Springs,CA. Not sure when he died, but plan on visiting the Placerville Library tomorrow to get article. His parents were Louis and Marie Barrette from Montreal who died about 1837. They had 10 children. Let me know if anyone's interested in them.
