In regards to your message concerning Joseph Barrette and Margaret Rondeau. I found a land listing in Crookston, Minnesota, for an Adolphe Barrette, a Pierre Barrette, an Edmond Barrette, and a Uclide Barrette. They were listed with a Louis Barrette, landowner, on a large plot purchased in 1882. I found this information while trying to track down my great grandfather, a Louis Barrette, who came into America from Canada. He had seven children: Lillian, Rose, May, Art, Dora, Harold, and Rudolph. Rudolph was born in 1897 in Douglas County, Wisconsin. Is there any link between these two families?
