Yes, this Barrera line has been tested as R1b1b2a1a (R-L11), according to a 3rd cousin match (Barrera) of mine at 23andMe. I descend from this Barrera line:

José Santiago Barrera, b. 1722 Cerralvo, N.L., m. Ana María Salomé García, b. ca 1736 Mier, Tamps.

his parents were:
José Santiago de la Barrera, m. Juana María de Rentería

and supposedly he was from Francisco Sanchez de la Barrera and his wife, Maria Duran de Uzcanga, but I cannot find proof. Can anyone help by pointing to a source for this information????
