Paul Barre and Marie Jeanne Girardy also had a daughter. Her name was Marie R Barre. She was born in 1741 and died in 1803. She maried Francois Paul Bossier I. He was born in 1733 and died in 1780. They had a son Francois Paul Bossier II who was born in 1758 and died in 1829. Francois Paul Bossier, II married Catherine Pelage Lambre. She was born in 1767 and died Dec 8, 1827. They are both buried in the American Cemetery, Natchitoches, LA. They had a son Pierre E Bossier. He was born 1794 and died 1844. He married Matilda Blair. He was a General. He was also a senator and congressman. Bossier Parish was named after him. I found pictures of him and his wife on the internet. I searched for Bossier Family. The pictures were at at site maintained by LSU. If you can't find it I can look in my material at home for the site, if you wish.

Francois Paul Bossier I and Marie R Barre, also had a son named Alexander Soulange Bossier. He was born 1770 and died 1823. He married Marie Eleanor Himel who was born 1733. I came from that line and have info if you need it.
