My 4th Great Grandparents were Stefano Barranco and Concetta Curcio
My Great Great Grandparents Salvatora Barranco and Nicolo Scalco were both from Cefalu.
They arrived in New York Harbor May 17,1899 and settled in Port Arthur Texas.
I would imagine we're related.
I've recently taken over where my grandmother left off with our family's genealogy and I would be interested to know if you made contact with Rosario Barranco.
I have no information on the Barranco family.
Someone in the family in Louisiana is supposed to have information on the Barranco family back to the 1300s in Spain.
No one in my immediate family can seem to remember who.
I would appreciate any information you could share.
I've been focusing more on my family's Creole and Acadian history recently, but hope to travel to Cefalu and Chiusa Scalfani in the next year or two.
