I'm not sure if it is any help to you but my Grandfather was named Hirst Barraclough and was born near Bradford in about 1896. He was killed in the First World War1917 near Menin. Hirst married Alice Miller and their children were named Gladys(MY mother) Lily and Ernest. Do you think there could be some connection with Mary Ann Barraclough. I would be interested to know.
