Hi Mary:
I am taking a shot in the dark here, but sometimes these shots pay off.
My great grandfather was Daniel Barrowclough. I was told that he was a black sheep and had been shipped to Canada and that my great great grandfather (name unknown) had been involved in the woollen mills in England,- thought there was a slim chance that Jeremiah may be the link.Do you think that there is any chance that Daniel was also a child of Jeremiah? You see my grandfather was named Alfred, which of course is the name of one of Jeremiahs children. Alfred seems to not be too common a name for Barrowclough (this was the way we spelt our name) nor does Daniel seem to have too many common threads.
My Daniel (gr.grandf) B 1838 place unknown.
It would possibly fit date wise with your family as a child, but of course is not on your list.
Any thoughts on this.
Look forward to hearing from you,
Regards,
Pat Sanderson
