The fact that Gomersal was shown as the home of this family caught my eye. I have been attempting to trace the family of my grandmother Mary Taft (nee Barraclough) who was born in Gomersal in 1871.
Her birth cerificate shows that her father was named Henry and was a green grocer in Gomersal. His wife was Sarah (nee Muff).
I wondered if Mary might be a decendant of one of those children born in the 1820's ?.
