Hi Karen,
Am just throwing this in now, without checking for more info...as I'm flat out and unsure when I'll be able to actually get to it...but a little while back I found siblings Peace and Freedom Barraclough born in Mirfield. Stayed in my mind, as the names were quite unusual for the timeframe and I had assumed they were both girls. This looks like being part of my line...so will definately get back to you on it. I'm thinking that Miriam and Edwin may actually be Samuels youngest (he was the Scottish born Barraclough, A Wesleyan minister)and the kids were taken in by family members after their Mum's incarceration, while he continued travelling. Will chase it up and definately get back to you, but have exams and assignments hounding me at the mo, so it might be a few weeks.
