Looking for Joseph Barraclough, b c 1811 in Adwalton York (according to 1851 census) and his wife, Charlotte (b c 1829, Silverdale, LAN). According to census, children were Snowden (8), Ruth (7), Martin (2) and Mary Agnes (5m)
Their son Snowden (b 1842, LEEDS) m Fanny LUMB (b 1843 Leeds) in 1866 in - you guessed it - Leeds. He was shown as a butcher in Calls at the time of their marriage. His father is shown to be Joseph P Barraclough, butcher.
When their daughter Ruth was born in 1868, he was listed as being 'Grocer, Tamworth Street'. At the time of her marriage in 1888, her address is given as 46 Strickland Steet, Kingston-on-Hull. Hopefully a nice girl like her was living with her parents .
