ANNOUNCING THE BARRACLOUGH MAILING LIST
This is to announce that all us Barraclough researchers now have a Mailing List of our
very own:
BARRACLOUGH-L
It is there as a discussion point for all Barraclough research, including variants such as
Barrowclough, Barracluff etc.
It exists in two forms, a List and a Digest.
To subscribe to the List, where messages come to you as individual e-mails as they are
posted to the list, you need to send an e-mail to:
BARRACLOUGH-L-request@rootsweb.com
To subscribe to the Digest, where all the e-mails are consolidated and they are only
sent out after a certain time, sned an e-mail to:
BARRACLOUGH-D-request@rootsweb.com
In both cases do not put anything in the subject line, and only the word "subscribe"
(but without the talkies!) in the body of the message. Sometimes it plays up at bit with
HTML turned on in the fancy programs, so you need to send the messgae in plain text.
Once you have done that, you will get a standard welcome message telling you how to
post to the list.
I am subscribed in both the List and Digest mode, as then I get messages as they come,
and I delete them as read, and store the digests away for future reference.
