I am again appealing for information on my Grandfather, Rufus Barraclough. Rufus disappeared, abandoning his family, between April 1911 and July 1914. He was born in Wortly Yorkshire in 1875 and came to the US about 1898. He was planing a trip back to England when he disappeared.
It is also possible that he went to Philadelphia PA USA and stayed with his brother Willie or with his brother-in law, George Newbury.
The big question is where to look in the UK. Are there city directories for that time period and a bit Later? Where or where did Rufus go?
