There is a woman, Carole Clyde, who now lives in Wales, who traces Yorkshire geneology. E-mail carole@clyde80.freeserve.co.uk. She has traced my Barraclough line to 1637. Ultimately, I believe all Barracloughs are related. However, there is an Alfred Barraclough, father Thomas and mother Anne, born in York in 1874. Barracloughs born in 1767 are Ann, (father Richard), John (father John) and William, (father Stephen). Some of the Barraclough family moved to Leeds in the 1800's; you could check there. Good luck. I just noticed that there are no births listed from 1639-1731...Possibly indicates moving they relocated, and then returned to the Yorkshire area ( Haworth, Wakefield, etc.)
