Wow, yes, he was from Pennsylvania. My mother and my aunt both have the tell-tell nose. Do you know the time frame in which he was stationed in CA? I can verify if this is the same man from this information.
Unfortunately, I don't have his birthday, but I can try to find out this information for you. I was very little when he was in my life, and I don't really talk to much of my family on my mother's side anymore (a very long story), but I will definitely try to bite the bullet and call my aunt.
If you'd be comfortable emailing me, I'd like to know who you are related to in the family and where you are from. I currently live in California.
Hmm, as far as not knowing the name.. I can post what I know about his children, and Mildred, his wife's children, whom he lived with over the course of their marriage. It's not much, but it might help.
