I've been to this posting before as I have a copy of the posting by Brandy Mills. I've since found a little more info on this family, but I don't remember if I emailed anything to you in the past as it has been about8 years now.
Carmen Baron was the bridesmaid at my mothers wedding. However, in my mothers writings and the newspaper articles that I have spelled Carmen's last name as Barron.
There were some showers thrown by Carmen Jo Barron and Alma Barron, who I later identified as Alma Wright or Mrs Victor P. Barron. Mary Baron was also mentioned and in the party(showers) articles the last names were spelled Baron.
I also have an article where an Easter Party was given by Mrs. V.P. Baron
It seems that when a party was given, pretty much the same people always came. McCamey was a fairly small town, however, research shows that during the oil boom, the whole county was hight populated, though mostly my single men or those who had families elsewhere.
