I've been researching this family of Barons in Lancashire:
William BARON (b abt 1791)
Wife: Mary (b. abt 1806)
Children:
1. Ann Baron(b. abt June 1823 Adlington, Blackburn district)
2. Sarah Baron (b. abt Jan 1825 Adlington, Blackburn district)
3. Nanny Baron (b. abt 1826 Blackburn district)
4. Unknown Male Baron (b bef 11 Feb 1827)
5. Thomas Baron (b. abt Feb 1827 Adlington, Blackburn district)
6. Ralph Baron (b. 8 August 1830 Bowfields, Balderstone, Blackburn district - married Sarah SPENCER in 1853 but died in 1857, one son Isaac)
7. Henry Baron (b. abt 1832 Blackburn district)
8. Hannah Baron (b. 14 September 1834 Bowfields, Balderstone, Blackburn district)
9. Jacob Baron (b. 14 December 1836 Osbaldeston, Blackburn district)
10. Marsden Baron (b. 19 May 1841 Little Oxenden, Osbaldeston, Blackburn district - married Margaret Alice WARD and had six children: Emma, Eli, Mary, Catherine, Lina and William Henry)
11. Catherine Baron (b. 12 August 1843 Osbaldeston, Blackburn district)
I would love to know...
- Who the children of William and Mary married, and whether they had children of their own. I've based all my findings thus far on the 1841 record and 1881 records of the families, so if someone wouldn't mind seeing if they can find the family in the censuses 1851-1871 that would be great.
- Parents and siblings of William Baron
- Who is Mary, William's wife?
