I am trying to get information on William Baron, Barns who was born around 1824 in NC. His wife was Elender sometimes called Nellie. I have found him in 1850 census of Iredell County, NC listed as William BARNS with wife Elender and daughter Margaret A.. In 1860 in Cherokee County he was William N BARON with wife Elender and children Margaret A., Jasper N., male?, William B. In 1870 William BARNS in Madison Co. with Nellie wife, Jasper, male?, Buchannon, Elizabeth, James and Mare, In 1880 as William BARNS in Madison Co. with wife Elender, William B., James D, Mary D., Cornelia and Vandora.
Can anyone give me information about his father? I think it may have been Jonathan Barron and Susannah Phifer (Phyffer) but don't know for sure.
