I have been tracing the Baron family in Baden, Bavaria and Savoy and now have 945 family members (Barons, spouses and children) in my data base. The earliest reference is Johann (Claudius) Baron on about 1630 in Herheim, Platz. Members of this branch of the Baron family settled in New York, Pennsylvania and Missouri.
If you are related to any of these people, let's exchange information. I will put up the entire data base on the Web later this year.
