I am a descendant of Léger Baron and M.-Anne Beaudon who were married at
Ste-Famille in Boucherville, Québec on november 28th 1679. He was 37 years
old at the time and she was 14 years old. They had 11 children together .
The 10th child of the family was Pierre Baron, father of my ancestor Charles
Baron. On his wedding day, it is written that Charles Baron was the son of
Pierre Baron (deceased many years before). It was Antoine Ménard and his
wife who acted as father and mother for him on that day. On his death
certificate it is written: Charles Baron called Ménard.
