My last name is Skop and I am half Ukrainian.
It is an Ukrainian name. During the war Ukrainians often fled to Poland. My father can speak Polish since Ukrainian is not much different.
My father, Michael Skop, knows quite a bit about the Skop family tree.
You can call and ask him about it if you like.
