My father immigrated from Berlin to Israel in 1937.
As far as he told me the origins of the family was in Poland.
The source of the name (in Jewish families probably ) is from the name in hebrew Bar-Aharon,which means :The son of Aron,,Moses's brother.
In Europe they had diffuclties pronouncing the name so an abbriviation was made to Baron.
I'll be happy to find lost relatives.
