My great grandmother was a Mazan. Also spelled Mazon sometimes. She was from Poland. Her name was Mary Antoinette Mazan and she was born 27 May 1887 in Gura Ropczcka, Poland. She was the daughter of John Mazan and Josephine Baron. Mary married Joseph Ortowski (Orlowski) and both of them died in Grand Rapids, Kent, MI.
