Desperately searching for data on my g.gf, Moses C. CLARK. His father,reportedly, was Joseph CLARK. Moses was b.6-1833 in Barnwell,S.C. By 1850, Moses was in Ellijay,Gilmer Co., Ga.He ma.12-1852 to Nancy ALLEN(1834-Ga.;1914 Ok.. She was the d/o James ALLEN and Martha P. CHASTAIN. Moses and his family moved to McCracken Co.,Ky ab.1865.Then, the family moved to Mo.(where?)at which time he bacame an ordained Baptist preacher. By 1880, the family was living in Taylor Co., Tx.About 1885, the family moved to Durant,Bryan Co.,Ok. where Moses founded and became the 1st preacher at the First Baptist Ch. He passed away 1 Apr.1901.Both he and Nancy are buried @ Highland Cem.,Durant,Ok.along with several family members. Who was Moses' mother and is Joseph truly his father? Did Moses have siblings?
