I have just started to trace this family for a friend .
In 1870 this family is in Hyde Park MA after a brief period in Attleboro MA . In 1880 , 1900-1920 thay are in Cumberland RI . Ambrose Barnwell of this family in 1920 is in Fall River MA where he settled . The only other Barnwell family except for the Joseph Barnwell family in 1880 in Cumberland RI descends from Patrick Barnwell in 1860 in Fall River who may also be the ancestor of the others . Any help appreciated since I do not have RI records . Bernard
