Thank you for all the info about your Robert Barnwell's line. I am much enlightened. Do you have any ideas about why your line, like my wife's Barnhill line, changed the name to Barnwell?
I have some info on a Robert Barnhill from Bucks County. I have his father listed as Samuel Barnhill, son of Robert Barnhill of County Antrim, Ireland. The source I have listed is "Bucks County will abstracts, 1685-1785." Do you have some good evidence or reasoning that Robert's father was William?
