Under any of these variant surnames, does anyone have a connection to these people? Stephan [Stefan], b.1857 in Poznan. He emigrated in 1882, lived in Calumet, Michigan until the 1920s, then moved to Chicago where he died in 1928. His brother Wojciech [aka George] bc 1874 who also came to Calumet c. 1889-1891, but remained here until his death in 1943. Their widowed mother, Mariana [Mary, maiden name possibly Michalska],bc 1827, also came to the US in the late 1880s or early 1890s and lived in Calumet until her death at age 96-ish in 1921. These are the only siblings of which I know, but considering the age difference, I'm sure there might've been others. katwood@chartermi.net
