Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum
message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles
will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will
no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.
Jennifer, what you refer to the missing links are where on my tree I start. Son James would be my GGGGRANDFATHER, and the family is from Tregoney. I live in Park City, Utah, but spend a great deal of time with the company I run in the Detroit Michigan area, however I get to Cornwall at least once a year and have established relatives there. One is Frank Grigg who is the town historian for Tregoney, his mother was a Barnicoat. Also through Harold Barnicoat's daughter, Linda Cackett she has traced the family back to Normandy to the time frame of 1060's, so we are now getting to make some sense of the family. In Cornwall the Barnicoat's are located basically in four towns all within a 10 mile radius, and those towns are Tregoney, Mylor, Truro and Falmouth, but they really do not communicate, really nice! It not I've found that they are mad at each other they have just elected to go on they merry way independent of each other, however this ulgy American, first generation, is trying to change that. What I need is your e-mail address and postal address so I can forward what I've got and get you derectly in touch with Frank and Linda. Looking forward to hearing from you soon...Guy
