Joseph Barnhart (b. 1850, d. 1/10/1930) married to Nancy Ellen McElroy (b. 9/30/1853, d. 1/10/1927). Joseph is the son of John Barnhart (b. 2/6/1800 in Greensburg, PA, d. 10/28/1886) and Susan Eleanor nee Hepler Barnhart (b. 9/10/18100. Susan was John’s second wife. Nancy is the daughter of Hugh McElroy and Mary nee Harmon McElroy. Buried at Oak Grove Cemetery in Armstrong County, PA. Their children are: William Harold, Mollie Blanche (Mrs. William Eisenhuth), James Harvey, Mary Katherine (Mrs. Ferris Elmer Reisinger), Eva Alice (Mrs. Morgan Kennedy), Hannah Jane (Mrs. John/Howard Vensel), Laura Ella (Mrs. John Scanlon), Anna Pearl (Mrs. Thomas George Barnes)Lulu May, and Hugh Joseph.
