Katherine's parents were Benjamin Barnhart and Marie Winger. Katherine was born in Canada and I do know that the family was German. Your ancestors would possibly be related to Benjamin. Do you have a birth date for your husband's grandfather? Is it possible that they had ties to Canada? Thanks for checking, I have very little information on that side of the family.
