My mother's grandfather, was a blacksmith in Worthington, PA as she recalled. It is said that John Ralston Barnhart's first wife was of Indian decent and did not have a last name. She was "Americanized" as Sadie and died shortly after the birth of her first child, Frank, named for John Ralston's brother. John married again to Sarah Ann and had 4 more children, Mae, Helen, Sadie and Albert St. John, my granfather.

It is known that my grandfather married his full cousin, Annabelle, the daughter of his uncle, Frank, and they had 5 children, Alberta Jane, Edna Mae (my mother),Sarah Ann, Jesse Caroline and Arthur Ralston.

It is known that Annabelle had 2 sisters, Pearl and Ruth. Ruth married into the Klugh family of Butler, PA They had a grocery store on W. Cunningham St. in Butler during 1950's-1960's.

All is lost without some help. Please reply.
