Henry and Phoebia Jones Barnhart sireCroleus (Carrolus) J Barnhart b Nov. 15, 1826 (28?) in Washington Co Ohio.He and Jane Wells b Sept 14 1828, d April 22, 1914
were married Dec 29,1849 (Dec 30 1847 ?) in Tyler County WV and resided in Pleasants County, WVa near the town of Saint Marys on the Ohio River.
Jane Wells was the daughter of Henry and Mary (Bailey) Wells of Pleasants Co WV (born 1796,1797 respectively)Jane had brothers named Samuel and Christopher who were war vetrans.The Barnhart farm was contiguous to a dividing ridge, two miles from Raven Rock, it's size was 156 acres.
