There is no question that we are of the same line.

My gggGrandfather was Noah Caughman Barnhart. His father was David Barnhart and his father was Peter Barnhart. I believe that Peter's father to be Jacob.

I know that I am 100% correct up to David. Beyond that I can't prove anything as yet. David moved to Marion County in 1831. His son Noah (my gggrandfather) was 4 years old at the time. They settle in Pleasant Township (Prospect Village), county of Marion. The old Barnhart place is now the "Owens Quarry" and has been in operation since the late 1800's.

Next I need to find Jacob's father.
