I find it curious that there are so many of us working on a Barnhart line that starts in Cumberland Co. PA and ends in what is now Washington Co. MD (with the exception of the VA group)...but yet we are missing peices to see how these all fit together.

I've been told by another person that Henry (possibly Henrich) could possibly be the major ancestor of all of these BARNHARTs. Henry had at least three sons, Jacob, George and Henry. In addition, I believe he had daughters (possibly two). We need to find the missing peice. But isn't that what genealogy is all about
