Sorry for the delay_ I just saw your posting as well. I have spoken with Arthur Carl Barnhart in the past and he stated that he had no idea who his Great grandfather was. I have been collecting information regarding our family for over 35 years and confirmed Frank's details as well as his father's. In all that time I have been unable to confirm the names of the Great grandparents of Frank and his brother Albert (my grandfather).
Have found numerous records for Frank and Albert's father, Charles Edward Barnhart b. Feb 20, 1863 and his father, William G Barnhart b. Oct 21, 1925 but cannot find detailed records regarding William G's father.
Many others list Abraham Barnhart of the Casper Barnhart line but documents provide that Abraham had no sons_ only 3 daughters.
Any information that may provide clues to this Barnhart line will be greatly appreciated.
