Hello Katrina, I rechecked BARNHART info I have and suspect John BARNHART in 1850 Census, father of Alonzo & Lorenzo BARNHART was probably a descendant of Cornelius BARNHART Rev. CORNELIUS BARNHART, RWPA #W8347/BLWT #26580-160-55. He was born at Wappingers Kill in Dutchess County, New York on July 25th, 1755. He states he first served as a private in Captain Francis Smith's Company of the East Ornage or Cornwall District Regiment of Orange County Militia [Lieutenant Colonel Elihu Marvin's Regiment]. He states he enlisted in Captain John Woolsey's Company [the Regiment not stated] in 1777, and was stationed at the Middle Schoharie Fort. see GENFORUM KREBER / KREVER / CRAVER a genealogy compiled by Barbara J. Jeffries Johannes Kreber (later changed to Craver) first appears in Rensselaerwyck as an enlisted man in the Albany County Militia 6th Regiment (Land Bounty Rights) during the Revolutionary War. He married Marytie Kilmer prior to 1757, probably in Dutchess Co. He wrote his will on 1 Nov 1799, at which time he was a resident of Greenbush, Rensselaer Co. It was probated on 30 Aug 1819. At that time, he was survived by his wife, Maritie and the following children: Jacob, Nicolas, John, Jr., Hendrich, Andries, Petrus, David, William & Jeremiah Craver and his daughter, Elisabeth, wife of John Shaver.
